Today, I am reviewing two trios released for Winter by Zoya. The Zoya “Hypnotic” and “Y2K” Trios for Winter 2022 are two vastly different releases, one consisting of jellies with holo, and the other with metallic shimmers. These beauties were sent to me compliments of Zoya. Hopefully, they will soon be available at Beyond Polish as well. If you’re here for the swatch photos, keep scrolling. Watch my video below if you want some live swatches and comparisons.
Malana
“Malana” is a ‘juicy bubblegum pink in a liquid holo jelly formula.’ This stunning pink was opaque in 2 coats and is a stunner.
Sparrow
Next up is “Sparrow,” a beautiful bright cyan jelly. This is my fave of the Y2K Trio. It’s another 2 coater, and this glows on the nail.
Tamiah
“Tamiah” is the last of the Y2K polishes. This is a “tart grape liquid jelly infused with holo sparkles.” This one is a 2-3 coater for full opacity. Check out my YouTube Shorts for a comparison on this fun purple to the sparkly purple from the Morgan Taylor Winter Collection.
Clarice
First up from the Hypnotic Trio is “Clarice,” a warm toned dark emerald green metallic polish. This gorgeous two coater is a must have from this collection. It’s opaque in one coat and looks so rich on the nail.
Rosalind
One of my faves from the Hypnotic Trio, “Rosalind” is a ‘darkened sugar plum purple with a hint of blueberry that becomes more apparent in broad daylight.’ This polish can definitely be opaque in 1 coat, but I did 2 coats for this swatch photo.
Metora
Last but not least, another fave, “Metora” is a ‘deep boysenberry jam with a shimmering metallic finish.’ “Metora” is opaque in 1-2 coats, and the shimmer gives this one so much depth.
