The new Yucca Palette from Natasha Denona is starting to pop up everywhere and I can’t wait to see more info and swatches on it. I have never tried any makeup by Natasha Denona, but have heard nothing but great things about her eyeshadows. The Bronze Palette was really calling to me when it was released, but I couldn’t justify the price. I’m just now starting to branch out from Too Faced, ABH and Urban Decay so $60 plus seemed a bit much to spend at that time. This 15 pan palette is $69.00 and I think it’s definitely worth it.

At first glance, this definitely gives my Urban Decay Naked Honey and Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture vibes. I still adore both of those palettes, and these color tones are right up my alley. It looks like there is a good mixture of mattes, metallics and shimmers here. The Natasha Denona website says this palette is the “perfect balance of green/brown hues for earthy everyday or shimmering statement summer looks.” It also says there are 4 new shades in Natasha’s latest sparkle foiled formula. I’m not much of a foiled eyeshadow wearer, but they certainly look amazing.

I think it’s fabulous that all of these shadows seem to have great pigmentation, and they look like they will be great on all skin tones. They definitely seem to have more of a fall vibe than summer vibe, but I’m not mad at it. Colors I’m most excited about? I’m really excited to see how ‘Flax’ blends. I have issues with dark brown shadows blending out well, and have yet to find the perfect shadow in that tone. ‘Fushi’ also looks really fun, and I feel like I could create some fun summer looks with it. ‘Valley’ and ‘Ixia’ also look gorgeous.
So, what are your thoughts on the new Yucca Palette from Natasha Denona? Will you be picking this up? It’s currently available for pre-order on the Natasha Denona website. It will ship out 6/1/23. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts!
