The new and interesting Opi Spring 2023 “Me, Myself & Opi” Collection is a 12 piece collection of a variety of finishes to get you ready for warmer weather. Let’s get into these beauties. Keep reading for swatch photos or watch the video below for live swatches and comparisons.
Pink in Bio
‘Pink in Bio’ is a “creamy off white with a pink undertone.” This beauty is opaque in 2-3 coats and is the perfect color to transition from winter to Spring. I love wearing polishes like this year round, so definitely recommend picking this one up if you like shades like this. If you already own Opi ‘Movie Buff’ though, you probably don’t need this one because they are pretty much dupes.
Switch to Portrait Mode
‘Switch to Portrait Mode’ is a “light pink shimmer with a peachy tone.” I don’t like this polish. The finish is not something I am not a fan of. The formula is not great. It’s a 3 coater, and I could still see my nail line after 3 coats.
I Meta My Soulmate
‘I Meta My Soulmate’ is a “rose quartz pink with a silver shimmer.” The silver shimmer in this adds a cool tone to the polish that makes this more wearable on my skin tone. This has the same formula as the previous polish, so I’m still not the biggest fan. Swatch photo shown at 2 coats.
Data Peach
‘Data Peach’ has the same formula as the previous two polishes. I actually like this one more than the other two though. This is a “light peach with a pink shimmer.” It’s ok. Not my favorite.
Blinded by the Ring Light
‘Blinded by the Ring Light’ is a pastel yellow that applies like a pastel yellow typically does. This is a 2-3 coater. I really do love how bright this yellow is. I compared this beauty to quite a few yellows in my video, so check that out if you’re interested in comparisons.
Silicon Valley Girl
‘Silicon Valley Girl’ is a vibrant tangerine that took me 3 coats to reach full opacity. I had some issues with the formula on this one, but I haven’t heard the same from other swatchers. If you’re a fan of oranges like this, give it a try!
Clear Your Cash
‘Clear Your Cash’ is a “beautiful pastel lime green.” This is another 3 coater. It was an easy 3 coater, so if you love shades like this, check it out.
NFTease Me
‘NFTease Me’ is one of my faves from this collection. This is a “light blue with a slight turquoise undertone.” It was opaque in 2 coats, and super easy to apply. I haven’t met many blue polishes I don’t love!
Spring Break the Internet
‘Spring Break the Internet’ is a “bright strawberry pink with shimmer.” I hoped this one would be more opaque than it actually was. I could see my nail line after 3 coats. It may look great as a topper. I’m just not a fan of it on its own.
Left Your Texts on Red
‘Left Your Texts on Red’ is very similar to the pink shimmer in this collection, but it’s a tad bit more opaque. Opi has given us plenty of shimmery reds that are much more opaque than this one, so I’m not a huge fan.
Incognito Mode
‘Incognito Mode’ is another fave. This is a purple with a slight gray undertone. It’s opaque in 2 coats and has an amazing formula!
I Sold My Crypto
‘I Sold My Crypto’ is another shimmer from this collection that is too sheer for my liking. The photo above is shown with 3 coats, and I’m just not a fan.
Final Thoughts?
So what are your thoughts on the new and interesting Opi Spring 2023 ‘Me, Myself & Opi’ Collection? I’m not a huge fan. There are 2 or 3 polishes from this collection that I will most likely wear and it left me with much to be desired. I’m hoping they release a better Summer Collection.
