It’s FALL!!!! Well, it’s not quite yet officially Fall, but today I’m sharing the best brown nail polishes for Fall. Essie No To-Do
Essie ‘No To-Do’ is a “deep coffee brown with red undertones.” This beauty is almost a one coat wonder and is currently available on the Beyond Polish website. ‘No To-Do’ was part of the ‘(Un)Guilty Pleasures’ Collection in late 2022/early 2023.
Ophelia
Zoya ‘Ophelia’ is a “cool, moody blackened brown cream.” This is a 1-2 coater that is so classy on the nails. It looks almost black in most lighting, but when you catch the sun or bright lights, you see the subtle hints of brown. ‘Ophelia’ was part of the Cafe Creams Collection in the Fall of 2022. Pick this beauty up at Beyond Polish.
Essie Mochacino
Essie ‘Mochacino’ is a “grey shimmer” that leans a little brown, so I’m including it here. Lol. This was released quite a few years ago, but I can’t find the exact year or collection. It’s currently available on Amazon so make sure you pick it up before it’s even harder to find. Shown here in 2 coats.
Essie Expressie Mid-day Mocha
Essie Expressie ‘Mid-Day Mocha’ is a “cool toned soft brown” that’s opaque in 2 coats. If you haven’t tried the Essie Expressie line, make sure to check out my review here. (Warning: This is one of my first videos, and it’s so cringe). LOL. You’ve been warned. Per Essie, the angled brush assists with application. You can pick this beauty up on Amazon.
Essie Leggy Legend
This polish is legendary!! Essie ‘Leggy Legend’ is a bronze metallic polish that is opaque in 2 coats. ‘Leggy Legend’ was part of the Essie Fall 2015 Collection. It’s pretty hard to find now, but there are a few available on Amazon.
CND Leather Goods
CND ‘Leather Goods’ is one of the first CND polishes I have tried. This is a “deep espresso” that is opaque in 2 coats. It is part of the Fall 2023 Collection and is currently available at Beyond Polish.
Opi You Don’t Know Jacques
Opi ‘You Don’t Know Jacques’ is a classic nail polish. I wouldn’t necessarily classify this as a brown, but I did anyways. My mind sees it and thinks of it as a brown. It definitely leans more purple, but it is described as a “gray brown.” ‘You Don’t Know Jacques’ has a fabulous formula and I highly recommend picking this beauty up.
Orly Infinite Allure
Orly ‘Infinite Allure’ is a gorgeous “gray brown metallic shimmer” from the Winter 2020 Collection. This is a two coater and is a stunning brown metallic. ‘Infinite Allure’ is available on Beyond Polish.
Essie Funfair Festive
Essie ‘Funfair Festive’ was released in 2017 in the UK. A nail friend of mine sent it to me and I love the red tones in it! ‘Funfair Festive’ is an easy 2 coater that looks stunning on the nail!
Essie Fierce, No Fear
Essie ‘Fierce, No Fear’ is a “light cappuccino brown creme” that looks like chocolate on the nails. This is an easy two coater from the Essie Summer 2014 Collection. I remember thinking that a brown polish in a summer collection was quite unique, but I’m so glad I picked it up.
Opi Espresso Your Inner Self
Opi ‘Espresso Your Inner Self’ is a “deep espresso brown polish.” This polish is from the Summer 2021 Malibu Collection and is currently available at Beyond Polish. ‘Espresso Your Inner Self’ is another easy 2 coater.
Zoya Eleanor
GAH!! I can’t even believe how beautiful Zoya ‘Eleanor’ is. It’s totally not a brown though. Lol. I added this one because it is a recent release and the description had “cinnamon” in it. Cinnamon is brown, so this qualifies right? ‘Eleanor’ is a “dark cinnamon mahogany crushed velvet” polish. It’s opaque in 2 coats.
Orly Don’t Be Suspicious
Orly ‘Don’t Be Suspicious’ is a new release. This beauty is from the Orly Fall 2023 Collection. ‘Don’t Be Suspicious’ is a stunning “rich chocolate cream.” It literally looks like chocolate on the nails and is opaque in 2 easy coats.
Zoya Dionne
Zoya ‘Dionne’ is a “deep brunette brown creme.” This was one of my fave polishes from the Zoya Sunset Palette Collection in 2021. ‘Dionne’ is another easy two coater that you need to get your hands on. Or should I say that you need to get on your hands. Lol.
Essie Crochet Away
Essie ‘Crochet Away’ is a “gray brown polish with red undertones.” This beauty is from the “Handmade with Love” Collection and is an easy two coater.
Expressie Cold Brew Crew
Essie Expressie ‘Cold Brew Crew’ is a “warm, mid-tone brown” nail polish. The warmth in this polish makes it so nice for Fall. ‘Cold Brew Crew’ is another 2 coater that’s a stunner on the nail. Pick this beauty up at Beyond Polish.
Opi Cliffside Karaoke
Opi ‘Cliffside Karaoke’ is another warm toned brown that’s perfect for Fall. This is another brown from the Opi Summer Malibu Collection. It’s an easy 2 coater and is available at Beyond Polish.
Orly Canyon Clay
Orly ‘Canyon Clay’ is also a warm toned brown, but it’s a bit darker that the previous two. This leans a little more red toned than orangey. ‘Canyon Clay’ is a 2 coater and can be found on the Beyond Polish website.
Zoya Amara
Zoya ‘Amara’ is a fave of my fave browns. This polish is so multidimensional and looks like velvet on the nail. ‘Amara’ is opaque in 2 coats and is available at Beyond Polish.
Opi Bonfire Serenade
Opi ‘Bonfire Serenade’ was also released in the Opi Summer 2021 Malibu Collection. This is a bit more cool toned than the other browns from the Malibu Collection and I love it. ‘Bonfire Serenade’ is opaque in 2 coats and can be picked up on Amazon.
Opi Brown to Earth
Opi ‘Brown to Earth’ is a dark brown creme that was released in the Opi Fall 2022 Collection. It’s another deep brown that looks almost black. This polish is available Beyond Polish, so pick it up today.
Essie Gel Couture All Checked Out
Essie Gel Couture ‘All Checked Out’ is such an amazing nail polish. The Essie Gel Couture line is soooo nice. ‘All Checked Out’ was released in the Pattern Play Collection in 2022. It’s a “raisin brown nail polish with purple and blue undertones.”
Sleigh It
Essie ‘Sleigh It’ is actually a “midtone gray” nail polish that leans taupe/brown. It was released in the Essie Winter 2022 Collection. ‘Sleigh It’ is opaque in 2 coats and looks gorgeous on the nails!
Essie Not So Silent Night
Is it brown? Nope, definitely gold. It’s perfect for Fall though. Essie ‘Not So Silent Night’ is a “bronze metallic with flecks of gold pearl and a shimmer finish.” This gorgeous polish was also released in the Essie Winter 2022 Collection and is opaque in 2 coats.
Expressie Take the Espresso
Essie Expressie ‘Take the Espresso’ is another almost black brown. I love how rich this deep brown is. It’s opaque in 2 easy coats and has a quick dry formula.
Morgan Taylor Totally Trailblazing
Morgan Taylor ‘Totally Trailblazing’ is a “hot chocolate creme.” This brown leans a bit more red that a lot of browns and that’s what I love so much about it. Morgan Taylor has such amazing formulas and I absolutely adore their wide brush.
Essie Gel Couture Transition Piece
Essie Gel Couture ‘Transition Piece’ is a stunning “mauve brown with a subtle shimmer.” This polish is an easy two coater that was released in the Fall 2022 Tailored Transformation Collection.
Essie Truth or Bare
Essie ‘Truth or Bare’ is a “light cinnamon brown” nail polish that is opaque in 2 coats. This was released in the “Wild Nudes” collection released in 2017.
Expressie Expresso Double Shot
Essie Expressie ‘Expresso Double Shot’ is a “smoky gray brown” nail polish. I’m beginning to see that I love gray toned brown polishes. This is opaque in 2 coats and is a quick dry polish.
Zoya Tasha
Zoya ‘Tasha’ is a “brunette brown metallic.” I had quite a few people ask me if this is a dupe for Zoya ‘Amara.’ They definitely are very close; however, I feel that ‘Amara’ has more dimension to it. ‘Tasha’ is an easy 2 coater.
Volcanic
Last, but not least is Olive Ave. Polish ‘Volcanic.’ This is a “deep, walnut brown creme” that is opaque in 1-2 coats. If you haven’t tried Olive Ave. Polish yet, make sure to check out the website. The owner, Walker, does a fabulous job with all of her collections. Olive Ave. polishes have a wide brush and great formulas. My 10% off affiliate code is BIV10.
