These beauties are available on the Orly website and will soon be available on the Beyond Polish website. I have swatch photos below if you would like to keep scrolling, or you can choose to watch my video below to see live swatches and comparisons of the polishes. Either way, I appreciate that you’re here! Thank you!
Regal Pine

‘Regal Pine’ is a gorgeous forest green. The Orly website says, “when the snow and ice wipe the world clean, this rich dark creme remains evergreen.” This is the shade of green that reminds me of the evergreen trees here in the Pacific Northwest. It’s not too warm or too cool of a green. It was opaque in two easy coats and is one of my faves from this collection.
Sugarplum Soiree

‘Sugarplum Soiree’ is a gorgeous plum-wine shade perfect for the holidays. The Orly website says, “A shimmering wine-red straight from a dream, this candy-like shade sparkles and gleams.” It really does gleam from within. I feel like this polish glows on your nails and is so rich! This is an easy two coater as well.
Cozy Night

‘Cozy Night’ is a beautiful teal nail polish that is opaque in two easy coats. The Orly website says, “Curl up inside and keep warm with a book, this rich dark teal creme will spruce up your look.” I love shades like this for a winter mani as you can see in my comparisons. You can never have too many of this color of polish. Simply stunning.
Velvet Ribbon

‘Velvet Ribbon’ is the perfect red for a winter collection. The Orly website says, “Pluck up your style with a bold and deep red, you’ll love this lush creme and the joy that it spreads.” This red truly is bold and deep. It looks much lighter under studio lighting, but in normal lighting, it’s much deeper. I love the warm tones in this polish. Another beauty with a fabulous formula.
Snow Angel

‘Snow Angel’ is the perfect name for this pastel icy blue nail polish. This was the only three coater creme in the collection, but they were three easy coats that were worth it. I was hoping this would be a dupe for Essie ‘Borrowed & Blue’ since that one is discontinued, but ‘Snow Angel’ is a bit lighter.
Spark

Last, but not least…actually it is my least favorite…is ‘Spark.’ This is a “copper shatter to light up the night. This metallic confetti makes your winter feel bright.” I’m not a fan of how unevenly this applies to the nail. I don’t love randomly scattered flakes on my nail. I prefer an organized, neat look for a mani. What are your thoughts?Shown above, I did three coats of the topper on my natural nail. Check out the photos below to see how it looked over ‘Regal Pine’ and ‘Velvet Ribbon.’

Final Thoughts
What are your thoughts on the new Orly Winter/Holiday 2023 Collection? I love all of the creme polishes in this collection. I’d say my favorites are ‘Regal Pine’ and ‘Cozy Night.’ ‘Velvet Ribbon’ is also right up there as well. My least fave was the topper, but I actually enjoyed the way it looked in my live swatch over ‘Cozy Night.’ I liked the contrast between the polish color and topper. Let me know what your thoughts are! Have a fab weekend.
