Fall is still not really close, but all of the nail polish companies are declaring that it’s time for Fall! Lol. Today I’m reviewing the new Orly Fall 2023 “Plot Twist” Collection. This is a 6 piece collection of 5 creme polishes and one pearly shimmer. They are currently available at Beyond Polish. Don’t Be Suspicious

“Don’t Be Suspicious” is a stunning, rich chocolate cream. This is one of my faves from the collection. The swatch photo shows how shiny this polish is without a topcoat. It has a fabulous formula and is opaque in 2 coats.
Shaky Alibi

‘Shaky Alibi’ is a “chic mauve cream.” This beauty has a great formula and is the perfect neutral for Fall. It’s an easy two coater.
Act of Folly

‘Act of Folly’ is a “unique mossy creme.” This color is definitely growing on me. Another polish with a fabulous formula. I also want to note that I didn’t have any issues with the brush on any of the polishes from this collection.
In the Conservatory

‘In the Conservatory’ is a beautiful “dusty brick red” that is so perfect for Fall. I was sure this was going to be a dupe for Essie ‘Rocky Rose,’ but it wasn’t. Check out the video for comparisons to this beauty. Another 2 coater with a fab formula.
Unraveling Story

‘Unraveling Story’ is a “mysterious rich gray.” I love shades of gray like this for Fall. Another absolutely gorgeous polish that is opaque in 2 coats.
Endless Night

‘Endless Night’ is such a fun polish. This is a “carbon blue shimmer,” and is another fave from this collection. It goes on so nicely. It may be brush strokey for some, but careful application will help smooth them out.
Final Thoughts?
So what are your thoughts on the new Orly Fall 2023 “Plot Twist” Collection? I was super impressed with these. First of all, the brushes were all so nice in all of the polishes. I have had issues with Orly brushes the past few years, so that was a pleasant surprise. I also think this was a nice color palette for a Fall collection. Throwing the shimmer into the mix made it a bit more exciting than just having a bunch of creme polishes.
