The Leo-nly One
Starting off with my least fave polish from this collection, this is ‘The Leo-nly One.’ This “bold gold pearl” is very brushstrokey and is opaque in 3 coats. I’m not a fan of shades like this on my nails, so I will not be wearing this one.
Gemini and I
‘Gemini and I’ is a “soft white shimmer.” This was opaque in 3 easy coats. The swatch photo does this polish no justice. It will be a beautiful polish to wear in the winter!
Pisces the Future
‘Pisces the Future’ is a gorgeous “light blue pearl.” This is a unique color for a Fall collection. I will definitely wear this in the Winter and Spring, but will pass on it for the Fall. Because it is a pearl, it does have brushstrokes.
#virgoals
“#virgoals” is described as a ‘bronze pearl,’ but I feel it’s more of a shimmer. This polish screams fall. I put this beauty over black in my YouTube video, so check it out if you’re interested in that combo. On its own, this is opaque in 3 coats.
Feelin’ Capricorn-y
‘Feelin’ Capricorn-y’ is my fave from this collection. It’s a fun dark green with pink and silver shimmer. This was opaque in 3 coats and looks perfect for Christmas.
Taurus-t Me
‘Taurus-t Me’ has the weirdest name. Lol. I had so much trouble trying to pronounce this one. This polish is a “mint green shimmer” that was pretty opaque in 3 coats, although I could see some nail line on some of my nails.
Kiss My Aries
‘Kiss My Aries’ is a must have for Christmas! It’s a ‘fiery red shimmer’ that is so shimmery that it looks like the polish dances on your nails. This is an easy two coater and is an absolute must have!
Big Sagittarius Energy
‘Big Sagittarious Energy’ is a beautiful “burgundy pearl.” This polish is so rich and is a two coater. I had some serious issues with the application of this one because of the brush. The Opi brush is my least fave brush out of any mainstream brands. I hope they give us a better brush soon!!
Feelin’ Libra-ted
‘Feelin’ Libra-ted’ is a “shimmery violet” polish. This is pretty opaque in 3 coats. I was excited to see how this would look over black, and it’s even more stunning. Check out the video to see the swatch over black.
Aquarius Renegade
‘Aquarius Renegade’ is a fabulous blue pearl. This one is an easy one coater, but I did two coats to try to smooth out the brush strokes. It’s beautiful on the nails, but keep in mind that the brush strokes are hard to camouflage.
Scorpio Seduction
‘Scorpio Seduction’ is the blue version of the gorgeous red I showed earlier. This is a “mysterious deep dark navy with an amethyst shimmer.” An easy two coater that is perfect for the season.
I Cancer-tainly Shine
‘I Cancer-tainly Shine’ is a must have if you love sparkling, shimmery goodness on your nails. This is a “silver holographic” nail polish that is so shiny that it looks reflective. It isn’t reflective, but definitely a perfect polish for Fall and the holidays.
Final Thoughts?
So what are your thoughts on the new Opi Fall 2023 “Big Zodiac Energy” nail polish collection? I personally think it’s a good collection…for Winter. A fall color palette is what excites me most about fall collections. It seems like Opi just put a bunch of colors together and called it Fall unfortunately.

I love Aquarius Renegade. The shimmer is heavenly. The gel turned out great on my pedicure. Can’t wait to try the other colors.
