Happy Saturday, friends!! Hope you all are having a great weekend so far!! Today, I will be showing you comparisons to the Essie Winter 2020 Love at Frost Sight Collection! If you love shimmers, you need this collection! Check out my YouTube review below, or keep scrolling if you’re just here for the comparisons!
Bon Bon Nuit
‘Bon Bon Nuit’ is a stunning “cool light pink with a glistening gold pearl.” I absolutely adore this polish. I was most interested to see how this compared to ‘Sugarplum Fairytale’ from this same collection, so keep scrolling if you’re curious about that one. I’ll post it under ‘Sugarplum..’ A few other shimmers that you all requested were ‘Birthday Girl’ (#essielove Moments Collection) and ‘Kissed by Mist’ (Spring 2020 Collection). You can see below that ‘Bon Bon Nuit’ is a much brighter, almost icy, pink.Â
Sugarplum Fairytale
‘Sugarplum Fairytale’ is a “vibrant lavender sprinkled with glistening gold pearl.” Another stunner from the collection. My only thing with this polish is that the gold in this polish is pretty intense, so much so that it almost drowns out the lavender in person. You can see below how it compares to ‘Bon Bon Nuit.’ Keep scrolling to see how it compares to ‘Tiers of Joy!’
Love at Frost Sight
‘Love at Frost Sight’ is a beautiful “baby blue brimming with glistening gold pearl.” I love this blue! It’s so fun and icy! You can see how it compares to ‘Make a Splash’ from the Spring 2020 Collection below. I’d say the primary difference is the shimmer. ‘Love at Frost Sight’ has a gold shimmer, while ‘Make a Splash’ has a blue shimmer.Â
Below, we have ‘Love at Frost Sight’ compared to ‘Let it Ripple’ and ‘Tiers of Joy.’ I also added ‘Sugarplum Fairytale’ to show how it compares to ‘Tiers…’
Twinkle in Time
‘Twinkle in Time’ is an “icy white polish loaded with glistening gold pearl.” This is the perfect snow polish for winter! I love this one!! You can see below how it compares to a few other Essie polishes, ‘Let it Bow’ from the Winter 2019 Collection, and ‘All Daisy Long’ from the Summer 2018 Collection.Â
I was also curious to see how it compared to OPI ‘Naughty or Ice?’ from the new OPI Shine Bright Collection! You can see below that ‘Naughty…’ has more silver shimmer, while ‘Twinkle…’ has more gold shimmer.
In a Gingersnap
‘In a Gingersnap’ is an ABSOLUTELY STUNNING “rosy red flecked with glistening gold pearl.” I am soooo obsessed with this polish. I clearly have nothing like it. Check out the comparisons below to see how it compares to a few of my other reds.Â
So which polishes are you picking up from the Essie Winter 2020 Love at Frost Sight Collection? These are all gorgeous shimmers. If you noticed, I have no polishes compared to ‘Peppermint Condition’ because that one is so unique. If you think of something that may be similar, let me know and I’ll compare it for you!!Â
Have a great day! Stay tuned for my China Glaze Halloween Collection YouTube review coming tomorrow!!Â
