Today, I’m sharing a new Target exclusive Collection, the Essie ‘Study Tips’ Collection. This is a six piece collection of cream polishes that are perfect transition shades to Fall. Keep reading for a short description of each polish with swatch photos, or watch my video for live swatches and comparisons.
Extra, Extra Credit

“Extra, Extra Credit” is an “eraser pink with blue undertones.” This is one of my faves from this collection. Is it coral? Or pink? I’d say it’s in between the perfect coral and the perfect pink. It also has a perfect formula, and is opaque in 2 coats.
Nail the Grade

Next up is ‘Nail the Grade,’ a stunning “deep burgundy red with blue undertones.” I love me some cool undertones, so I’m a definite fan of this one. This is another 2 coater. It may or may not be a must have depending on what other burgundy polishes you may have. Watch the vid for some comparisons.
Homework It

‘Homework It’ is a green. Lol. It’s not necessarily a puke green. I actually don’t hate this one. This one is described as an “asparagus green with yellow undertones.” It is a 2 coater, and has a great formula.
Sharpen Up

‘Sharpen Up’ is a “warm mustard yellow cream with red undertones.” This is another 2 coater. Gorgeous color and perfect formula.
Study Tips

‘Study Tips’ is the perfect “navy blue with red undertones.” I love dusty blues like this in the Fall. This is almost a one coater, but I preferred two. It’s a must have.
Doodle the Minimum

‘Doodle the Minimum’ is another fave from this collection. This “light gray with blue undertones” definitely leans more blue than gray, and is opaque in two coats.
Final Thoughts?
So, what are your thoughts on the Essie ‘Study Tips’ Collection? I’m a total fan if you couldn’t tell. These get me in the mood for Fall, along with some of the other Fall releases. Check out some of my other Fall Collection reviews here, and have a fab day! MUAH!!
