Are you ready for the most perfect Spring Collection ever? (imho anyways) The new Essie  ‘Feel the Fizzle’ Spring 2023 Collection is an absolute must have. These are currently available at Ulta Beauty. Beyond Polish will have these within the next few weeks at a cheaper price. Check here to see if they’re available yet! You can also use my discount code, BIV10, for 10% off if you buy the polishes individually.Â
Back to these beauties. There are 6 polishes in this collection. The Ulta website says this collection “features multisensorial spring shades inspired by a day of indulgent self care, designed to evoke feelings of optimism and relaxation.” Essie polishes are 8-free and are free from animal derived ingredients.

Feel the Fizzle
‘Feel the Fizzle’ looks much different on the nail than it does in the promo photos. If you check out Ulta’s website, you will see a very bright pink version of this polish. Once you get it in person, though, it’s basically just a very sheer shimmer. I’m not the hugest fan of this one on its own, but check out the photo below to see how it looks over black and how it compares to Essie Crystal Clear Intentions.
Do you notice enough difference in these two toppers to justify purchasing both?
In the You-Niverse
‘In the You-Niverse’ is one of my faves from the collection. It’s a “milky bright taffy pink” that is opaque in 2-3 coats. This polish applies so nicely and looks like Spring on the nail. I compared this beauty to quite a few polishes in my video, but you can check out one of the comparisons below for a general idea of this one.
What are your thoughts on the above comparisons? Did you think this polish would be a bit close to Essie Run Wildflower and Orly Kaleidoscope Eyes?
You’re Scent-sational
Next up is ‘You’re Scent-sational,’ a “muted chartreuse yellow.” This is another polish that is very inaccurately portrayed on the Ulta website. It looks like a neon yellow in the images, but it is a bit more muted with a touch of green. ‘You’re Scent-sational’ is a 2 coater (3 if you do thin coats) and looks fabulous on the nail.
When I first saw ‘You’re Scent-sational,’ I was sure it was a dupe for ‘Chillato,’ but you can see it’s different. I compare it to a few more polishes in my collection in my video. Please let me know if you have any more comparison requests.
Ride the Soundwave
‘Ride the Soundwave’ is a “milky sky blue” that is opaque in 2 coats. This is another fave from the collection. I’m a fan of blue polishes and I love how bright this one is. Check out my video to see how it compares to Essie ‘Blue La-La’ and some other gorgeous blues.
Don’t Burst My Bubble
Another fave from the collection, “Don’t Burst My Bubble” is a gorgeous periwinkle purple. This beauty is opaque in 2 coats and has a perfect formula. I compare this one to Orly Bleu Iris, Essie Bikini So Teeny and many more in the video. I can never have enough nail polish in this color!
It’s High Time
I often have a hard time picking an absolute fave, but I can easily say this is my absolute fave. That’s hard to do with a collection like this. There are so many beauties in the Essie ‘Feel the Fizzle’ Spring 2023 Collection! This beauty is ‘It’s High Time,’ and it’s a “mid-tone mint green.” It’s THE mint green I’ve literally been wanting from every other nail polish described as a mint green. Opaque in 2 easy coats, this one is a must have.
What are your thoughts on the Essie ‘Feel the Fizzle’ Spring 2023 Collection? I can confidently say this is my favorite Spring nail polish collection ever released. The only thing I would’ve liked to be different is ‘Feel the Fizzle.’ It’s a great topper, but I feel like that sixth polish could’ve been better.
