Happy Wednesday!! Today, I’m going to be reviewing some more Essie Expressie polishes. Have you all had a chance to try any of them yet? They are lovely! Check out my other reviews on this collection here. I’ve got a swatch and review today on each of the Essie Expressie oranges and reds. I have put the Essie descriptions of each polish in quotes under each photo. Enjoy!
Bolt and Be Bold

‘Bolt and Be Bold’ is a “yellow red with brown undertones.” This polish is stunning and has a great formula. I did 2 coats here, and highly recommend this beauty!
Seize the Minute

‘Seize the Minute’ is a “blue toned red” nail polish. I love blue toned reds, and this one is no exception. This is another 2 coater with a perfect formula!
Hustle n Bustle

‘Hustle n Bustle’ is a “clay toned red” nail polish. This polish definitely reminds me of some of the polishes from the ‘Rocky Rose‘ Collection. Expect some comparisons soon. This is another 2 coater with a wonderful formula!
In a Flash Sale

‘In a Flash Sale’ is a “burnt orange” nail polish. I did 2 coats here. Another stunner. This will be so pretty as a transition color to Fall, and I feel it is also a beautiful polish to wear in Spring and Summer!
Desk Mani

‘Desk Mani’ is a “peachy beige” nail polish, and will be on my nails all the time in the Fall!! I did 2 coats here. I feel like this MIGHT be similar to Essie ‘Fall for NYC,’ but I’ll have to do a comparison to see for sure.
Strong at 1%

‘Strong at 1%’ is a “spiced coral” nail polish. 2 coats here. It’s a must have!!! If you don’t like orange polish, this will make you love orange polish! Promise.
Saffr-on the Move

‘Saffr-on the Move’ is a “warm brown and orange” nail polish. This is 2 coats. Another great formula. It kinda reminds me of Essie ‘On the Bright Cider’ with a little more orange in it.
Don’t Hate, Curate

‘Don’t Hate, Curate’ is a beautiful “golden yellow” nail polish. I feel like this one leans a little more orange-yellow, and that’s why I wanted to include it here. This polish is another 2 coater. I love this polish, and I think it is pretty unique to my collection. I’ll be excited to see how it compares to other Essie yellows.Â
Final Thoughts?
So, what do you think of the Essie Expressie oranges and reds? I love how Essie really stepped outside of the box and did some fun and unique colors here. Sure, some of the colors we have seen before, but I love how ‘Don’t Hate, Curate’ and ‘Saffr-on the Move’ are just a little different than polishes we have seen before. I definitely recommend picking both of them up, as well as some of the other oranges.
I feel like we have seen “Seize the Minute’ many times from Essie, so that polish may not be necessary to add to your collection. The orange polishes in this collection are all pretty much must haves though! I don’t have a ton of orange polishes because I’ve never really been into them, but these polishes 100 percent changed my mind on orange!
Which polishes are you excited to pick up?!? What comparisons would you like to see?
