What is this New Essie They Call Expressie? Part 2

I’ve got a few more swatches from the Essie Expressie Collection here for you all!! I have been having SO MUCH FUN swatching all of these beautiful colors!!! I have a few more to grab from the collection, but hopefully I will have all of the polishes soon!! 

Throw It On

‘Throw it On’ is such a pretty, soft polish. It is described as a “lilac purple.” This is 3 coats. I feel like this is kinda similar to ‘Bangle Jangle,’ a polish on many polish collectors’ lemming list! I’ll have to compare them for you all!! This is definitely a must have!

Precious Cargo-Go!

These olive green polishes have been pretty popular over the past year or so, so I had to buy this one. ‘Precious Cargo-Go!’ is a “dusty olive green.” I love this polish! This is 2 coats. Great formula!! I don’t think I have anything like this in my collection!

Mic Drop-it-Low

I love me some shimmer, so I had to have this one! This is ‘Mic Drop-it-Low,’ a “shimmering magenta pink!” I used 3 coats here, but 2 would have been just fine. Definitely a must have!!

Scoot Scoot

OOOOOOH!!!!! Love this one so much!! ‘Scoot Scoot’ is a “dark plum purple.” This is 2 coats plus topcoat. This is such a rich color, and will look beautiful on any skin tone!

Strong at 1%

Orange you in heaven seeing this color?!? Lol! I’ve never been a huge fan of oranges, but I’m really starting to love them more and more!! This is ‘Strong at 1%,’ a beautiful “spiced coral.” This is 2 coats. Lovely formula. 

Final Thoughts? 

These polishes are all so pretty! These can be purchased online at Target.com, Walgreens.com, Amazon.com and Ulta.com.  They run right around $8-10. There are 40 different colors so far. See my previous blog post for some of the other polishes. They are considered quick dry polishes, and I would say they dry within 3-5 minutes. As far as longevity goes, I have heard people say they last up to a week without chipping, and others say they chipped within a day. I think a lot of that has to do with what type of lotions or oils you may have on your hands, and what you do throughout the day. These are also made to dry fast without a topcoat, but I like to add my Seche Vite Dry Fast Topcoat for extra shine.
