I’m so excited to finally be sharing the new Opi Barbie nail polish collection! These beauties are currently available at Beyond Polish, so make sure you pick out your faves and head to their website. They have fabulous prices on mainstream polishes. My discount code for 10% off through their website is BIV10.
Back to the polishes. This is a nine piece collection of creme, shimmer and glitter finishes. The Opi website says this is “literally the most glam collab featuring exclusive shimmers, glitters, and crème nail polish shades inspired by the new movie BARBIE!” The movie will be out in theaters this month, so make sure you find your fave polish so you can have the perfect mani at the movie.

Best Day Ever
“Best Day Ever” is a ‘sparkly pink glitter polish’ that is opaque in 2 coats. The first coat of this beauty is pretty sheer, but I loved how it built up on the second coat. The larger glitters in this polish make it a little more fun than just your typical shimmer. Make sure you wear a peel off base coat because the chunky glitters make this one pretty difficult to remove.
Hi Ken
“Hi Ken” is a beautiful yellow with green undertones. This beauty is easy to apply for a yellow nail polish. It reached full opacity in three coats.
Feel the Magic!
“Feel the Magic” is a cool toned pink that is opaque in 2 easy coats. The Opi website describes this one as a “deep pink creme.” It’s a fab pink to add to your collection if you don’t already have this shade of pink.
Every Night is Girls Night
“Every Night is Girls Night” is such a fun polish. I got this completely opaque in 3 coats and really love the way it looks on the nail. The shimmer/glitter applied very evenly and nicely. Definitely can’t wait to wear this on my nails for a girls night out!
Yay Space
I’m a bit confused by the name of this polish, but it’s still pretty! “Yay Space” is a shimmery baby blue nail polish. I did three coats here for the swatch photo. The coats dried very quickly, so it was an easy three coats. This one is fun, but not one of my faves.
Hi Barbie
“Hi Barbie” is definitely one of my faves! This vibrant hot pink is pure perfection. Sure, we probably already have a million of these shades of pink. I can never have too many though. Opaque in 2 coats and absolutely lovely.
Bon Voyage to Reality
“Bon Voyage to Reality” is a nude pink creme that was opaque in three easy coats. This applied like most polishes this shade usually do. It’s a nice nude polish with the slightest touch of pink.
Welcome to Barbie Land
“Welcome to Barbie Land” is a super fun shimmery pink. This is a two coater that was super easy to apply. I must say, though, that I feel like “Spring Break the Internet” from the Opi Spring Collection is pretty similar. I don’t think you need both.
My Job is Beach
“My Job is Beach” is another fave from this collection. It’s the perfect bright blue for summer, and it applies like butta. This was opaque in two easy coats.
Final Thoughts?
What are your thoughts on the new Opi Barbie nail polish collection? Do you think you will pick any of these up? I’m a fan of the pink and blue cremes. My least fave was probably “Yay Space,” but it’s not a bad polish by any means. I just like the other shimmer/glitters more. The yellow is not bad either. It’s one of the easier yellows to work with and I like the touch of green!
