I’m so excited to be reviewing a new Essie Gel Couture Collection today. The new Essie Opulent Opera Collection is a 6 piece collection that is currently available at Beyond Polish. (affiliate link) I do also have an affiliate code for 10% off with Beyond Polish, and appreciate you so much for using it if you decide to. Live swatches and comparisons are available in the video below, or you can keep reading for swatch pictures!
Overture the Top
‘Overture the Top’ is a gorgeous brown toned red that is opaque in two coats. This is one of my fave polish colors to wear in the fall!
Orchestrated Style
‘Orchestrated Style’ is a 2-3 coater that applies like butter!! This is an absolute must have from the collection. It can tend to be a chameleon polish where it will look more off white in some lighting, and more peach in other lighting.
Bring Gown the House
‘Bring Gown the House’ is the most perfect sage green in life! If you have ‘Sage You Love Me,’ and don’t think you need this one, watch my comparisons to see how much they differ. Another must have!
High-End Note
‘High-End Note’ is one of those gorgeous blue-gray polishes that Essie does soooo well! This applies like butter, and is opaque in 2 coats. Check out the comparisons if you’re interested in seeing how this one compares to ‘Anchor Down’ or ‘Toned Down.’
Tuft Act to Follow
‘Tuft Act to Follow’ is the most perfect muted orange ever!! I love this one. It’s also opaque in 2 coats, and is perfection!
Overdressed to Understudy
‘Overdressed to Understudy’ is a beautiful pinky red (or red pink). Either way, it’s beautiful. If you’re a fan of these shades, I definitely recommend picking this one up as well.
So, what are your thoughts on the Essie Opulent Opera Collection? I’ve been loving so many fall collections this year. They are making me want to stay in fall forever!
