Are you ready for ANOTHER Essie Collection?!? The Essie ‘Keep Me Posted’ Collection is a 6 polish collection that is available exclusively at Target! All 6 polishes are creme finishes, which is a pleasant surprise since it’s been a while since they released an all creme collection. Check out the video below for 10 billion comparisons, and read on for swatch photos and descriptions.
Berlin the Club
‘Berlin the Club’ is a “bold plum purple with red undertones and a creme finish.” This polish is a 1 – 2 coater, and has an amazing formula. You can check out comparisons to the following polishes in my video above: IRL, Kimono Over, Making Harmony, Sights on Nightlights, No More Film and Hazy Daze.
Been There London That
‘Been There London That’ is a rich rosy red with a creme finish. This is a 2 coater. It is much more of a muted red polish that I compared to the following polishes in my video: Swept off my Feet, Mrs. Always Right, Angora Cardi, A-Game, Satin Slip and Stop, Drop & Shop.
Rome Around
‘Rome Around’ is a stunning bright teal blue that is a 2 coater. I love polishes like this, and compared it to the following: In the Cab-ana, Garden Variety, Naughty Nautical, I’m Addicted, Up Up and Away Message, Viva Antigua, Bustling Bazaar from the Summer 2020 Collection, N’ama Stay the Night and Take the Lead. Whoa…that’s a lot of teal-y polishes. Lol.
Madrid it for the ‘Gram
I love the name of this polish. ‘Madrid it for the ‘Gram’ is a “vibrant papaya orange creme,” and is opaque in 2 coats. The polish is much more muted in real life than it is in the promo photos online. I compared this polish to the following: Peach Side Babe, Souq up the Sun, Any-fin Goes from the Sunny Business Collection, Tart Deco, and Check In to Check Out.
No Place like Stockholm
‘No Place like Stockholm’ is a “cloudy midtone gray” that is a 2 coater. When I first saw this polish, I immediately thought of ‘Bangle Jangle,’ because I always think of ‘Bangle Jangle.’ Lol. I compared this beauty to: Chinchilly, Without a Stitch, Bangle Jangle, Skip the Track, Just the Way You Arctic, Ciao Effect, Cocktail Bling, Once Upon a Time and Petal Pushers! Whoa…that’s a lot. Lol.
Happy as Cannes Be
‘Happy as Cannes Be’ is a gorgeous 2 coater that is a “muted alabaster white.” This is such a pretty neutral polish for Spring. I compared this polish to the following: Urban Jungle, Between the Seats, Passport to Sail, Blanc, Get Oasis, Mind-full Meditation, Clock In, Press Pause.
Final Thoughts?
So, what do you all think of this new Essie Keep Me Posted Collection? I’m loving it, and am so thankful we have some nice Springy colors from Essie since the actual Spring 2021 Collection left much to be desired for Spring.
