Obsessing over all of the new Fall nail polish collection releases!!! Today, I will be sharing comparisons to the Morgan Taylor Disney Villains Collection. This collection was sent to me compliments of Morgan Taylor, and I am loving it!Â
Just One Bite
Looking for a gorgeous red metallic? Look no further than Morgan Taylor ‘Just One Bite!’ I get pretty bored with the same old red polish in collections, so this was a definite stand out with an amazing formula! When I initially swatched this polish, I thought it may be closer to Essie ‘Ring in the Bling,’ but they are different tones of red. You can also see that ‘Total Request Red’ from the Morgan Taylor MTV Collection is a bit more red-orange.Â
Fashion Above All
Holy MOLY, shimmery goodness!! ‘Fashion Above All’ is one of the most shimmery, glow from within, silvers I own. The closest polishes I have in my collection are Essie ‘Gadget Free‘ and ‘Spells Trouble’ (from the NEW Essie Blue Moon Collection). As you can see in the photo above, ‘Fashion Above All’ is much brighter than the other 2 polishes. They are all must haves, but I love how ‘Fashion…’ glows!
You’re in My World Now
What else says Fall/Halloween more than a vampy polish loaded with shimmer?! I love wearing polishes like this during the Fall. They’re so fun! You can see the difference in this polish compared to two similar polishes from Essie. ‘Frock n Roll’ leaned more purple, while ‘Wicked Fierce’ from the Originals Remixed Collection is lighter.Â
Mistress of Mayhem
I will definitely be wearing this green a lot this season, and for Christmas!!! I love shimmery greens, but I don’t own a ton. When I initially swatched this one, I thought of Essie ‘Like a Charm’ from the Let it Ripple Collection. ‘Like a Charm’ has much more blue in it though. What do you have in your collection that compares to ‘Mistress of Mayhem?’
Make ’em Squirm
Love, love, loving these fun purple polishes lately!! I was super excited to compare Zoya ‘Andrea’ from the Fall 2020 Collection to ‘Make ’em Squirm,’ and you can see above that they are pretty similar. Essie ‘For the Twill of It’ has more green in it than the other two, so is definitely not a dupe.Â
Smoke the Competition
And the polish I was most excited to see comparisons to? Smoke the Competition! The polishes always look slightly more similar in comparisons, but these polishes are all different! Both ‘Suzi Talks with her Hands’ and ‘Sagebrush’ have a bit more teal/blue tones to them, while ‘Smoke…’ is a tad more olive. Do you really need them all? Coming from a nail polish collector…yes. However, they are similar enough that you don’t REALLY need them all. lol.Â
What polish from the Morgan Taylor Disney Villains Collection do you hope to pick up? Let me know in the comments! Hope the comparisons were helpful!!
