Essie Sunny Business Collection

So obsessed with the Essie Sunny Business Collection that I had to get swatches and comparisons up ASAP!!! These polishes are amazing, and I feel like they’re all must haves!! The formulas and colors are to die for!!!

Suits You Swell

Such an absolutely beautiful purple-pink polish! ‘Suits You Swell’ covers in 2 coats, and is the perfect shade. See comparisons below. I thought it would be much closer to ‘Splash of Grenadine’ than it was. ‘Splash’ is a tad more pink. ‘It Takes a West Village’ is a darker pink, so no dupes here.

Throw in the Towel

‘Throw in the Towel’ is a beautiful coral that is opaque in 2 – 3 coats. As you can see in the comparisons below, I have quite a few corals that I thought may be close dupes. The polishes look much closer in the photos below, but definitely no dupes.

Seas the Day

The most beautiful mint polish I have ever worn! ‘Seas the Day’ is a stunning mint polish with shimmer. The shimmer does transfer well to the nail and gives a ‘glow from within’ look. I did 3 coats above and love it!! 

In the comparisons below, you can see that ‘Blossom Dandy’ is the closest polish to ‘Seas the Day.’ The only difference is the shimmer. ‘Empower-mint’ is close, but not as bright; whereas ‘MCA’ is more blue (I do not own the mint MCA).

Beachy Keen

‘Beachy Keen’ is the absolute most perfect peach polish!! 2 – 3 coats for full opacity. If you have been unable to get your hands on the Essie Midsummer Collection, this is a pretty close dupe to ‘Everything’s Rosy.’ It’s also a dupe for ‘Around the Bend’ from the Rocky Rose Collection. ‘Excuse Me, Sur’ is a little lighter, although the photo does not portray it as clearly as in real life.

U’V Got Me Faded

You can never have too many pastel purple polishes! ‘U’V Got Me Faded’ is a must have pastel purple with an awesome formula. 2 – 3 coats for full opacity. ‘Ruffle Your Petals’ is very similar, but a tad brighter, while ‘Baguette Me Not’ has more pink in it. 

Talk to the Sand

‘Talk to the Sand’ is a stunning peachy nude, and is a 2 – 3 coater. I felt like it leaned more pink than it actually does when compared to ‘Ballet Sneakers’ and ‘Romper Room.’ ‘Stirring Secrets’ from the Spring 2019 Collection is a dupe for this polish.

You’re a Catch

Another pretty peachy nude!! ‘You’re a Catch’ is a few shades darker than ‘Talk to the Sand,’ but is just as stunning. 2 – 3 coats to full opacity. When compared to other peachy nudes, you can see that it is very similar to ‘Come Out to Clay’ from the Rocky Rose Collection. I was waaaay off in my thought that ‘Set in Sandstone’ was similar. Lol.

Sunny Business

THIS is the polish that originally caught my eye when I saw the Sunny Business Collection. I love me some yellow polishes! This polish, though, was a tad more sheer than I like. I still think it’s a must have though. It’s such a unique yellow. 

As for dupes, I knew I didn’t have any, but wanted to see how it compared to some other Essie yellow/yellow-green polishes! Check out the comparison below!!

Any-Fin Goes

You all know I’ve been loving me some orange polishes lately, and this is no exception. ‘Any-Fin Goes’ is opaque in 1 – 2 coats. Amazing formula. As far as comparisons go, I could not find any dupes for this polish. ‘Check in to Check Out’ is very similar, but a tad lighter. 

Final Thoughts?

So, my final thoughts on the Essie Sunny Business Collection?!? They’re all must haves. The end. Lol. For real though. You need them all. Many of you have been asking where I purchased these. I found them at Fred Meyer in the Seattle area. I have also seen them online at Polishpick.com, and they will soon be available at Beyondpolish.com.
