Essie Midsummer Collection

Hey friends!! Happy Tuesday!! Today, I will be sharing my Essie Midsummer Collection comparisons!! The Midsummer Collection is a new Walgreens exclusive collection that is an absolute must have! I hope these comparisons are helpful for you! Please leave a comment if there are any other polishes I should have included. I will check my stash to see if I have them and compare them for you!!

Sway in Crochet

There is nothing I love more than a good pastel polish, and this polish is no exception!! ‘Sway in Crochet’ is a stunning baby blue that is opaque in 2 coats. I was sure I had a dupe for this polish in my collection, but I do not! My other blue polishes are either too light or too muted (as was the case with ‘Getting Intricate…not shown here.)

Blossoms n Besties

Ok, ok, another pink by Essie…YAWN!! But NO, this is an absolutely beautiful, bright pink with an impeccable formula!! I searched and searched through my pinks, and couldn’t find a dupe!! How is that even possible? The pinks I have are either too light, too dark, too purple, too blue… Must have…this polish is a must have!

Ruffle your Petals

Ok, a lavender…I can dupe that one easily with my Essie stash!! Except…I can’t! ‘Ruffle your Petals’ is a stunning 2 coat pastel lavender with a slight pink undertone. When compared to the rest of my lavender polishes, it is more pink or less pink, more blue or less blue…but not dupable! 

Just a side note…this post is not sponsored. Lol! I even paid for this collection with my own money!! I’m just loving these polishes so much!! Just wait for it, though, there is a negative!! Lol!

Everything’s Rosy

No, this is not the negative. Clearly, this is another absolutely gorgeous pink that is to die for! ‘Everything’s Rosy’ is a stunning peachy pink that is opaque in 2 coats. I was sure this was a dupe for one of my fave pinks, ‘Groove is in the Heart,’ but ‘Groove’ is a tad more pink. The other two polishes compared here were just a tad more peach than ‘Everything’s Rosy,’ so no dupes here!

Feelin’ Poppy

Finally we have the namesake of the collection, ‘Feelin’ Poppy,’ a beautiful coral-red that is opaque in 2 coats! You all know that my collection of reds is not the largest, so I picked the 3 closest I had to this polish. As you can see above, no dupes here, but ‘California Coral’ is fairly close.

Final Thoughts?

But what about the green? OH, there’s the negative. Lol! If you saw my YouTube review, you saw that I’m not the greatest fan of that polish, so I have nothing to compare it to…besides slime…like the green slime from the show ‘Double Dare.’ Just kidding – kinda. I know so many of you love that polish, so you will be so happy to know that it has a great formula as well.
